Former Fed & Coach to Former Gov's Director of Coaching!!

I am beyond giddy and grateful to share I've taken on the role of Former Gov's Director of Coaching!!

I have the opportunity to build and lead the coaching program supporting a whole community of mission-driven public servants navigating what's next. And honestly, it feels like every piece of my own path was leading here!

For eight years, I led high-impact, cross-sector initiatives across different federal agencies helping teams, leaders, and systems evolve toward people-first, equity-centered ways of working. My path took me from teaching future generations about environmental stewardship with the Forest Service, to supporting NASA-funded research at USGS, to digital engagement at GSA, to talent retention at the IRS. Across every single one of those roles, I was the person people called when community needed building, when passion for the mission needed sparking, or when things got ambiguous and complicated. I was a culture-builder, a DEIA advocate, a systems thinker; always finding ways to break down silos and make room for voices that weren't always centered.

And now? I get to bring every bit of that experience into a role built specifically for people who've lived that same public-service life. I know exactly what it feels like to be pushed out of or to walk away from a mission that mattered, and to wonder what your next chapter is even supposed to look like (or who you even are in the midst of it).

Here's what I'm building this program on:

• Systems thinking: because your career doesn't exist in a vacuum, and neither does your next chapter. We'll look at how your choices align with the bigger picture, not just the next job posting.

• Human-centered support: your values, your identity, your needs come first. Always.

• Data-driven insight: using tools like the Energy Leadership Index, we don't just talk about change, we measure it.

• Change readiness: because uncertainty is part of this journey, and I'll help you move through it with actual clarity and confidence, not just gritting through the pain.

  
  

I know what it's like to manage multi-agency transformation, to navigate ambiguity at scale, to lead through change that felt bigger than any one person. That's exactly the lived experience I'm bringing into supporting Former Gov's members; purpose-driven professionals who've given so much of themselves to public service and deserve genuine, values-aligned support as they figure out what's next.

This isn't just a title to me, it's full-circle. I get to help people I deeply care about and feel connected to, in a role I feel like I was building toward the whole time without even knowing it.
